How to know if your account has been locked
Here is an image which will show you what it will look like if your account was locked!!
If you receive the error message above, follow these steps:
1) Secure Your Computer
Ensure that your computer is free from any malicious programs, as a password change alone may not deter future attacks.
2) Secure Your Email Account
Choose a new password for your email account and review your email for any filters or rules you did not create.
3) Choose a New Password
Change your password to resume using this There4you forum account, as your former password no longer grants access to any login-protected There4you account service. Visit our Password Reset page to begin the password change process.
4) Contact our Account's team
Before your account is unlocked please contact our accounts team at: accounts.there4you@consultant.com
After your account has been unlocked:
You will receive a Private message from our Forum bot telling you that our investigation was successful, and he will tell you what has happened to your account and what has been done about it. We advice you not to reply to the Forum bots Private message as this will make your account private messaging be disabled.
You will also receive a E-mail that you registered to, information about why your account is locked, and what to do to un-lock it.
You will receive a e-mail from accounts.there4you@consultant.com. If you don't receive a e-mail from accounts.there4you@consultant.com do not click any links, and send the e-mail to us.
If you suspect that someone else may have gained access to your account:
1) Don't panic!: Our moderation team are available around the clock to issue with Bullying and account needs. Our moderation team will also be able to secure your account and lock it before the hacker does damage to you and someone else.
2) Change your password immediately: Please change your password to stop the hacker from connecting to your account!
3) Secure your computer: Be sure to secure your computer from any hackers, we suggest you using avast antivirus. They're software is completely free to use.
4) Avoid clicking links: Please be sure to read our approved links, posting links to another site that is not approved by our support team will get the link removed and the thread locked.
We hope this tip topic was able to help you if your account was hacked, and you were able to recover it by our simple thread.
Thank you.
